Growth Groups

Growth Groups are small group communities of 8 – 15 people who gather to encourage each other, grow spiritually and serve together. No one at FBC with needs stands alone!

  • Chinese Sunday Group

    Sundays @ 11:30 a.m.

    The Chinese community meets in the Conference Room to discuss the sermon, pray together, and explore how the truths apply to our lives. Contact Chung & Rebecca Hsu: hsuc82@gmail.com.

  • Young Adult Group

    Sundays @ 11:30 a.m.

    Young adults and grad students gather in the Hub at church to build friendship and study God’s Word to follow Christ on campus, at work, in families, etc. Contact Minji Lee: minjilee@umass.edu.

  • African Community

    Saturdays @ 2:00 p.m.

    The African community gathers a few times each quarter to enjoy meals from our cultures, encourage each other, grow spiritually, and reach out to friends. Contact Lucy Mule: lmule@smith.edu

  • Search the Scriptures

    Mondays @ 7 p.m.

    What does the Bible really say? How can God guide my life? People of all ages are invited to meet on Zoom to dig into the Bible in a safe community. Contact Sue Dierks: susandierks@gmail.com.

  • Women's Bible Study

    Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

    Women of all ages are invited to this caring group of women who support each other and study the Bible together. Childcare offered upon request. Contact Carolyn Mozel: carolyn@fbcamherst.org.

  • Northern Growth Group

    Fridays @ 7:00 p.m.

    Do you live in one of the northern towns? This Bible study for all ages is close to home! Come start the weekend encouraged and grow in Christ. Contact Ben Bakker: bbakker@deerfield.edu.

    Fridays @ 7:15 p.m.

  • Band of Brothers

    Saturdays @ 8:00 a.m.

  • College Growth Group

    Thursdays @ 7:00 p.m.

    Saturdays @ 4:00 p.m.
